I don't think any of that is gonna happen, but with the amount I'm seeing the parents in the coming episodes, I feel like we're gonna have a reunion very soon. Then I want more seasons with them all together on a journey - if any of that makes sense. I want a sesh-rin reunion with the twins, an inu-kag reunion with Moroha, a reunion with Sango & Miroku and fam, and then an epic final battle to finally take down either Zero or Kirinmaru (or both) where the girls are the main event & the adults are all like back-up. I really hope that with it being titled the second act, this season is gonna conclude a lot of the storyline. She is creative.I'm hopeful, but I don't want this plotline of Rin being stuck in the tree of ages and Inuyasha & Kagome trapped in Toga's grave to be dragged out for another season. Together, they battle evil demons who seek to acquire the shards of the legendary Shikon. However, I reached episode 21 and I'm starting to see some action and story progression. If you only consider the central conflict with a primary antagonist as integral to the story, then yes, a lot of the smaller scale and character development episodes won't interest you, but I'm personally glad it's a long series which branches out more. I consider the main story to be the characters' progression and their whole journey together, so every episode feels like a cohesive part of a broader whole to me. I suppose it is a matter which is heavily subjective and open to interpretation since it depends on what you consider the main story. The series continues a half demon Inuyasha and a high school girl Kagome Higurashi s journey alongside their friends Shippo, Miroku and Sango to obtain the fragments of the shattered Jewel of Four Souls, a powerful jewel that had been hidden inside Kagomes body, and keep the shards from being used for evil. My point was: I don't visualize the whole picture gaining form because the episodes tells stories that don't progress the main story. Things happen so fast, sometimes too fast.
Maybe I expressed myself in wrong words cause english is not my mother language. The sisters have a hard time trying to fight Nikosen while. With the series slowly approaching the end of the season, Episode 12 of Yashahime starts as Konton, burning with a thirst for revenge, appoints a former sage turned apparition named Nikosen to destroy the half-demon sisters. This is personally one of the aspects I love most about Inuyasha, that it's one of the series out there which doesn't seem like it's just in a race to the finish line, but a lot of people seem to hate that about it since this slower pace is a frequently mentioned criticism. It's just that a lot of episodes just focus on character development and smaller character moments and take breaks often from just advancing the central conflict at a fast pace. "Standalone episodes" isn't really an accurate description since the show is heavily serialized as it's all one continuous, overarching storyline. Really? It doesn't have an arc or something? Just stand alone episodes or mini arcs of 3-4 episodes? All the way to the 167?
